Rental Policy
1. Rental Eligibility
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all rentals.
- The renter must be 18 years or older.
- A credit card is required to secure the rental and any potential damages.

Items that are not eligible for return include the following:
- Power Wheelchairs and Scooters
- Beds, Mattresses and Pillows
- Lift Chairs / Recliners
- Manual Wheelchairs
- Bathroom Safety Equipment
- Braces and Compression Therapy

Custom products
Special order items: products not kept in regular stock and purchased specifically at the customer’s request.
2. Rental Period
- Rental charges begin on the date the equipment is picked up or delivered.
- Rental periods are available daily, weekly, or monthly.

Early returns are accepted, but no refunds are issued for unused rental days.
3. Payment Terms
- Full payment for the selected rental period is due at the time of pickup or delivery.
- Extensions must be arranged before the rental period expires.
- If the renter keeps the equipment beyond the agreed period, additional rental fees will automatically apply.
4. Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit may be required, depending on the equipment type.

Deposits are refunded once the equipment is returned in clean, undamaged, and fully functional condition.
5. Delivery & Pickup
- Delivery and pickup services are available within the GTA for an additional fee.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable once the service has been completed.

The renter is responsible for ensuring safe access for delivery personnel.
6. Equipment Condition & Responsibility
- All equipment is inspected, sanitized, and tested before rental.
- The renter is responsible for proper use of the equipment, keeping it clean, and preventing damage, loss, or theft.

The renter must not modify, disassemble, or repair the equipment.
7. Damage, Loss, or Theft
- The renter is financially responsible for damage caused by misuse or neglect, missing parts, or lost/stolen equipment.

Trinity Med will assess repair or replacement costs and charge the renter accordingly.
8. Equipment Malfunction
- If equipment malfunctions due to normal use, Trinity Med will repair it, replace it, or refund the unused portion of the rental.

This does not apply to damage caused by misuse or improper handling.
9. Cleanliness & Sanitation
- Equipment must be returned in reasonably clean condition.

Excessive dirt, stains, or contamination may result in a cleaning fee.
10. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made before pickup or delivery are fully refundable.
- Cancellations made after delivery are non-refundable.

Special-order rental items may be subject to a cancellation fee.
11. Liability
- Trinity Med is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from improper use of the equipment.

The renter agrees to use the equipment as intended and follow all safety instructions.
12. Return Policy

Equipment must be returned to Trinity Med during business hours.

Late returns will incur additional rental charges.
Equipment must be returned to the same location unless otherwise arranged.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By signing the rental agreement or completing a rental transaction, the renter acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined in this policy.
